Full Lotus Manufacturing was incorporated in March 1985 for the purpose of developing and manufacturing inflatable floats for fixed wing aircraft. Over the years, Full Lotus Manufacturing became the undisputed leader with this type of float design including structural engineering and manufacturing, lightweight air retention membranes technology, and rotational molding. Full Lotus also developed an amphibian option to its product line as well as inflatable helicopter floats.
Having been based in Vernon, BC in Western Canada since 2002, Full Lotus Floats Manufacturing changed hands and moved location to Midland, Ontario on June 1, 2012. Full Lotus Floats are now manufactured and distributed by Aircraft Floats Manufacturing, Ltd, established at the Huronia Airport, in beautiful Georgian Bay.
