HOW TO PLACE YOUR ORDER FOR FLOATS & ACCESSORIES:
If you have never ordered from us before, just complete a simple on-line QUOTE REQUEST FORM and we will prepare the requested quote/order form for you. After you receive and review your customized quote, you will still be able to request changes before confirming the order:

Aircraft Floats Mfg. needs to receive a signed order form for every order; we also need to have a signed "Purchase Agreement" on file for every customer. You can view, download and/or print these two pages right from this web page (click on sample at right). We do not generally accept orders over the phone. When ordering, please make sure to indicate the appropriate part numbers and corresponding descriptions to ensure that you receive the correct items. Once your form(s) have been completed, just send them back to us by e-mail (scanned), by fax (at 1-705-526-8022) or through the post office. When we receive your order, we will contact you to let you know how soon we can ship and how much you can expect crating / shipping costs to be (if applicable). Feel free to call us with your questions.
PAYMENT:
We request a 50% deposit on orders of complete floats at the time the order is confirmed. The balance will be due just prior to shipping or at the time of pick-up. For smaller orders (i.e. replacement parts) full payment should be made as soon as shipping costs have been confirmed. Smaller orders are usually shipped within 1-2 business days. Full sets of Full-Lotus floats are usually shipped within 2-3 weeks. We require payment in full before any shipment is released.
We accept payments by Certified Check, by credit card* and by bank wire transfer**. Prices posted on our website and brochures are in US Dollars unless otherwise specified, EX-Works Midland, Ontario, CANADA and are subject to changes without notice.

**Canadian Customers: We also accept payments by E-transfer from Canadian banks that offer this service. When processing an E-transfer, please include your name or invoice number in the "comment" box to insure we credit your account appropriately. Our e-mail is [email protected]. Make sure to also send us the password you selected for this transaction (via separate e-mail). ***US customers: Please note that a tax ID number will be needed to facilitate the border crossing of your package with customs/Homeland Security. This can be a business tax ID or a personal SSN. As long as we do not leave the box blank on the shipping documents, the powers-that-be seem content to let things through. A blank box often means additional delays and "related" charges... |
CRATING & SHIPPING:
Crating and shipping costs are not included in the price of the floats or of the parts. We typically ship by UPS or Purolator because of the fast service and traceability; for larger packages, we use a regular freight company (i.e. YRC Reimer). The cost of pre-paid shipping will be added to your invoice unless we ship using your own account number. Call us if you have special shipping arrangements in mind... Crating cost may apply to any order that requires custom-crating or special handling. There are NO crating or shipping charges when you pick-up directly from our shop.

MINIMUM ORDERS:
Please note that Full-Lotus charges a $15.00 "handling" fee for any order below $50.00. To avoid this fee, you can always add extra hardware, float patches, etc., until you reach the required minimum.
CANCELLED ORDERS and RETURNED GOODS:
Unless specifically waived, a 10% charge shall be assessed on cancelled orders not yet shipped; a 20% charge will be assessed if the goods were shipped and are returned in like-new condition. No goods shall be returned unless previously authorized by AFM Ltd.
