PATCHING MATERIALS FOR YOUR FLOATS
|
Squares of material used in the construction of Full-Lotus floats (approx. 12" x 12") are available for patching purposes (for field repairs, etc.). These can be sewn-on or glued locally as necessary. Specify material, color and quantity when ordering.

To patch punctures in bladders, follow instructions in the owner's manual. It is suggested you find an online source for the recommended Tetrahydrofuran if you cannot find it locally. Aircraft Floats Mfg. does not ship Tetrahydrofuran...

PROTECTING YOUR FLOATS
|

These full-length covers will protect your floats from the elements, from ultra-violet light and from prying eyes while your aircraft is left outside or in storage. Made of durable vinyl, these covers slide over the shell of the floats (no need to lift the floats to install) and are secured in place with the provided straps. A longitudinal slit on the top surface allows the cover to be slipped around the struts; full-length velcro strips ensure that the covers can be appropriately secured. Cuts can be made in the rip-resistant material to accomodate rigging fittings. Protect your investment!
