Over the years, Full Lotus Manufacturing (BC) developed a number of different amphibious gear systems designed for use with the FL1220, FL1260, FL1450 and FL1650.  The most experienced installer of these "add-on wheels" to Full-Lotus floats is Ken Smith of Harbour Sport Aviation. Until Aircraft Floats Manufacturing, Inc. has introduced its new integrated system (see below), we advise anyone seeking advice to change their straight Full-Lotus floats to "amphibious" to contact Ken Smith directly at 920-495-3910.

Today, based on technology borrowed from ZENAIR FLOATS,  Aircraft Floats Manufacturing, Inc is actively developing a new amphibious system for the Full-Lotus Light-Sport floats; Updates and test results for the new system - which include main wheels integrated inside the body of the float - will be posted here as soon as available. We are well into the design phase of the project. Testing should be completed by the end of summer 2013.
